National / International
It was only after my 15th year in business that I considered DJing nationally or internationally. This is simply because I wanted to create an unshakable foundation of top-of-the-line, 5-Star performance. This has been achieved. For the past eleven consecutive years I've been the #1 Google Rated Wedding DJ. In other words, Wedding clients in Chattanooga, TN and the tri-state area have voted, using the most popular method of rating a local business. I am honored.

This page describes the details of hiring me to travel by plane, and perfectly perform your Wedding. (I continue to DJ locally.)
Qualifications
-
your wedding is too far for my normal, local drives, requiring a flight from Chattanooga (anything over a 3-hour drive from Rossville, GA)
-
you would cover my flights
-
you would provide two to three sound systems (one for the ceremony, one for the cocktail hour, one for the reception / dinner) (my sound equipment must remain local to insure my Chattanooga events are covered)
-
you would provide the party lighting, uplighting, etc.
-
you would provide extension chords and power strips, detailed later
-
you would cover transportation costs (Uber, etc), to and from the airport, hotel, etc (four minimum)
-
you would cover my hotel / housing
-
you would cover my meals
-
you would cover the cost of a second local gig: your one-day event requires me to arrive the night before for a good nights sleep and to leave the morning after; this absorbs almost three days, the first of which I won't be able to book another client's wedding
-
for travel exceeding six days you would cover the cost of missing two local gigs
Your equipment commitment
Besides payment, your main focus would be to provide the three sound systems, party lights, and audio chords (detailed later), all available to rent at Guitar Center (US). Although I will help facilitate these efforts I will not be responsible for them. Upon arrival I expect the equipment to be on-site and ready for use.
-
Ceremony: one powered speaker, usually elevated on a tripod, no audio wiring needed (for comparison I use a Bose Compact)
-
Cocktail Hour: one powered speaker, usually elevated on a tripod, no audio wiring needed (although this is identical to the Ceremony you'll want two units so that the transition between the two events is seamless, instead of a huge break in music as I move the Ceremony speaker to the Cocktail Hour space)
-
Reception / Dinner: The Reception / Dancing space is usually in the same room as the Dinner space. This is where you'll want two powered speakers, usually much more powerful than the Ceremony speaker. (for comparison I use two Bose L1 Model 2's)
-
Reception / Dinner Subwoofer: This is a must because you can't have a party without low-end bass. You'll need a powered sub. (for comparison I use a QSC KW181 1,000 watt 18")
-
Party Lights and uplighting, as many as you like
-
Extension Chords & Power Strips, detailed later
Summary
It's simple: you want the Wedding of your dreams, or your loved one's dreams, and you refuse to accept anything but the absolute best. I am prepared to give you exactly this. I would certainly not attempt to handle your distant Wedding if I wasn't 100% sure of this procedure, my normal attention to detail (the pre-event 'Digital DJ Planner' and my day-of execution), my significant skillset, and solid confidence.

If you are interested the process begins by completing the Ballpark Quote form. Instead of replying to you with an Official Quote I will text you to set up a phone / video call. For video I use Ecamm (nothing for you to download) which allows for multiple video guests on the one call. We'll chat and get a sense of each other and the event. I'll make sure to discuss everything, including all costs, and answer all of your questions with detail. I'll then send over a detailed bid with a line-item breakdown of the costs.

This bid and price breakdown will include:
-
the cost of hiring me as your Wedding DJ for 10-hours, not including travel (6 performance hours, 3-hours of setup, and 1-hour of takedown)
-
the cost of my travel; this includes the total hours of travel from my home, not including the day-of 10 hours in performing the event
-
the estimated flight cost
-
the estimated non-flight transportation cost (Uber, etc)
-
the estimated cost of the hotel / housing
-
the estimated cost of my meals
